Apply Passport anywhere from India

Facilitating easy application for passport, the government has eased the process as a person can now apply from anywhere in India
just with the help of a Mobile app via cellphone . Also if you wished to apply for passport but worried for the documentation of the documentation of the govt , and time required to obtain it, a new app launched by External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, is all set to ease your worries.

Until now, if you wanted to apply for the document, you had no option you have to fill up the the form online or offline and submit physically at Passport seva kendra ( PSK ) and than formalities completed submitted on a computer.

Swaraj termed the new rules for the application as a “passport revolution” and has even announced that the government will set up a PSK in every Lok Sabha constituency.

The ministry has stated that when you apply for the travel document through the mPassport Seva app, it will allow you to select the Regional Passport Office (RPO) and thus your PSK. This RPO may not have your present residential address under its jurisdiction.
However your’s police verification will be conducted at your’s nearest police stations only

For example , a resident of U.P working in Mumbai can now apply for a passport at his nearest Regional Passport Office or Passport Seva Kendra or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra irrespective of his residential address falling under the jurisdiction of that particular office.

A young generation more attracted to latest technologies , because of this Govt.of India initiated this service , App which is launched by govt it will easy to use and more user friendly

Swaraj announced that at least one Passport Seva Kendra or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra will be made available in all the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies.
